This year marks 20 years of the biggest event on the Australian fashion calendar, Australian Fashion Week. Gypsea traveled to Sydney to showcase our upcoming swimwear collection at Carriageworks.
The backstage atmosphere during the shows was amazing. The work of many talented Australian fashion designers surrounded us. This year we especially loved to see amazing models of all shapes and nationalities.
Gypsea opened the show with our new Maddox Top from the Microscopia Electronica collection.
Microscopia Electronica offers a glimpse into the unique world of texture and colour, visible only under a microscope using polarised light.
This collection was developed in collaboration with award winning photographer Bernardo Cesare.
We also introduced our Sirens Of The Sea collection.
With the Sirens Of The Sea collection we are taken back the essence of what it is to be a Gypsea. Combining our love for the ocean, beach lifestyle and what it means to be a modern day mermaid. This collection presents a unique blend of stunning imagery and carefully selected, summer fresh plain colours.
